Beyond Exchange — Curated Buying Terms & Conditions

By scheduling an appointment, shipping items, or submitting items to Beyond Exchange (“Beyond Exchange,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“you,” “client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Ownership & Authority

You represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner of all items submitted to Beyond Exchange or have full legal authority to sell them. All items must be authentic, lawfully obtained, and free of liens, claims, or third-party ownership interests.

Beyond Exchange reserves the right to refuse, return, or retain items that cannot be authenticated or raise ownership concerns, as permitted by law.

2. Curated Buying Model

Beyond Exchange operates under a curated buying model, not consignment. All items are reviewed based on brand, condition, authenticity, market demand, and seasonality. Acceptance of items is at the sole discretion of Beyond Exchange. Pricing offers are determined by Beyond Exchange and may vary. You are not obligated to accept any offer. Submission of items does not guarantee acceptance or payout.

3. Shipping & Transit Responsibility

If you choose to ship items to Beyond Exchange: You acknowledge that Beyond Exchange is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged during transit. You are responsible for proper packaging and selecting a trackable shipping method. You are encouraged to retain tracking information until receipt is confirmed. Responsibility for shipped items transfers to Beyond Exchange only after items are received and logged by our team.

4. Onsite Handling & Care

Once items are received: Reasonable care will be taken during handling and evaluation. Beyond Exchange is not responsible for normal wear, minor handling marks, or pre-existing condition issues. Items may be photographed, stored, and handled as part of the evaluation process.

5. Offers & Payment

If you accept an offer: Payment will be issued using an selected payout method such as cash, check or a cashapp, venmo type transfer. Store credit, when offered, may be provided at a higher value than cash payout and is non-refundable. Upon payment, ownership of accepted items permanently transfers to Beyond Exchange.

6. Declined Offers & Returns

If you decline an offer: Items may be returned according to our return process at the client expense. Return shipping timelines may vary. Beyond Exchange is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers. Items not claimed or returned within a reasonable timeframe may be considered abandoned, subject to applicable law.

7. Authenticity & Counterfeit Items

Beyond Exchange reserves the right to: Decline items that cannot be authenticated. Retain or dispose of counterfeit items where required by law. Report counterfeit goods to appropriate authorities. No compensation will be provided for counterfeit or misrepresented items.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: Beyond Exchange is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Any liability shall not exceed the amount offered for the affected item(s). Beyond Exchange is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage beyond reasonable control.

9. Communications & Privacy

By participating in Curated Buying, you consent to receive communications related to appointments, evaluations, and offers. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications

Beyond Exchange may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the current terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable state and federal laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Acceptance

By booking an appointment, shipping items, or submitting items to Beyond Exchange, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
